The early years of childhood are a season of profound change and growth—not only for children, but for families as well. Welcoming a new baby and adjusting to life with a young child brings moments of beauty, learning, and transformation.
The Intentional Nest exists to support families through this time with care and intention, offering guidance that helps create peaceful home environments and meaningful daily rhythms from the very beginning.

Hi, I’m Ashley.
I’m Montessori Infant and Toddler certified and have spent several years working in Montessori classrooms with young children. During that time, I developed a deep appreciation for how prepared environments and respectful guidance can support a child’s natural development.
I’m also a mother, and becoming a parent myself gave me an even deeper understanding of how meaningful—and sometimes overwhelming—the early years of family life can be.
The Intentional Nest grew from my desire to support families during this season, helping them create homes and rhythms where both children and parents can feel supported and grow together.
• The earliest years of childhood are foundational, shaping a child’s confidence, independence, and sense of security.
• Thoughtfully prepared environments can support children in exploring the world with curiosity and growing independence.
• Families deserve guidance that is practical, respectful, and supportive of their unique home and rhythms.
• When parents feel supported and prepared, the early years can become a season of growth and connection for the entire family.
The earliest years of childhood are a time of growth and discovery for both children and parents. During this season, the home environment, daily rhythms, and caregiving relationships all play an important role in shaping a child’s development.
The Intentional Nest was created to support families as they navigate these early years with greater clarity and confidence. Rooted in Montessori principles and practical experience with young children, the focus is on helping families create environments that support independence, curiosity, and a sense of calm within the home.
Rather than striving for perfection, the goal is to offer thoughtful guidance that feels realistic and supportive of each family’s unique home and lifestyle. Through intentional environments and developmentally informed support, families are empowered to create spaces and rhythms that nurture both the child and the family as a whole.

Families grow and change quickly during the earliest years of childhood. The Intentional Nest offers support during the stages when thoughtful environments and guidance can make the greatest difference.
